About the course:

This qualification is designed for the learners who are enthusiastic about teaching and training. The course will provide them with an outline learning of introduction to Teaching, roles and responsibilities, building and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment, the relationships between teachers and other educational professionals, and how to create the aura of inclusive teaching.

Entry Criteria:

Age: 19 +

Entry profile:

Required to carry out an initial assessment of a trainee teacher’s personal skills in Maths, English, and ICT.
Development needs to be recorded and, where applicable, an action plan agreed
If already taken an initial assessment, the record of development needs and any previous actions taken to address them should be reviewed and updated

This certification is for those learners who are inquisitive about various domains of Education and Training. It will help them learn roles and responsibilities, learner’s needs, assessing students, and much more!

Personal skills to meet academic and cocurricular requirements
Potential to study at a minimum academic level-4 ( same as first year of degree course)
Initial assessment in Maths, English, and ICT Skills. The program will support further developments recorded in a personal development log.
Competent at Level 2 in English and Maths prior to the completion of this qualification
